Emmanuel Ugokwe is a Nigerian Writer, translator, trained Film Producer, Translator and a Journalist. He founded the Age Youth Foundation in 2008 and currently serves as Country Coordinator for SIA Africa and Society for Young Writers, Nigeria Southeast and South.
He has been published in many journals, books and magazines across the world. In 2008 he received his first prize in Wordinaction in England, for his drama ‘the silence within’. He also won Association Of Nigeria Authors/ Things Fall Apart At 50 Art Prize and Association Of Nigeria Authors/Ken Nnamani Prize For Igbo Literature. In 2009 he won Princess Hastrup Prize for The Best Researched Work.
He is currently a Journalism and Mass Communication student of Sikkim Manipal University, Accra, Ghana.
