In my country I am a certified translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice. My main area of expertise is law, but I can also cover all other domains, such as technical, medical, arts and literature
I currently work with Notary Public Offices for which I perform legal document translations and interpretations.
I owe my expertise in legal translations mainly to the period in which I worked for PETRU BUZESCU LAW OFFICE.
Mr. PETRU BUZESCU is a legal counsellor of Romanian origin and an US citizen. While living in the US he was a judge at the supreme court of justice. Upon returning to Romania he started his own practice and put up a team of highly skilled lawyers and translators. I was a member of this team and together we worked for important privatizations and multinational companies with representations in Romania, such as Coca Cola, Amoco, British American Tobacco, Bell Helicopters and the list could go on.
During the past years, working freelance, my experience extended. I have participated in a great deal of technical projects, mainly for English-Romanian and Italian-Romanian.
I have also had a few very gratifying experiences in working for some clients abroad and my work was appreciated, proof to this being the fact that I was paid extra.
Although the world economy has affected my country as well, 2011 started with a surprisingly heavy workload for me, and this may be a sign that things are getting better, at least in this part of the world. Or so I hope.
I am looking forward to more job experiences especially with clients abroad. |
