A native speaker of English (US), I have over 15 years of experience working with the French language. During that time I worked as a teacher for a number of years and was often asked to translate texts, articles, etc.. by my students. Thus my informal introduction to translation started years ago. Since I loved working with the language, becoming a translator seemed like a natural career choice. My formal training includes the successful completion of a French to English certificate program and several years of translating for various nonprofit organizations.

I have spent time living in France, Belgium, the UK and the United States and am comfortable working in both French and English. I have also gained a deep understanding and familiarity with these French and English speaking cultures.
