I was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands in 1938, but we migrated to Australia in 1953. I am, therefore, a native Dutch speaker, who has lived in an English speaking country for over 50 years. I speak and write idiomatic English. My career as a Librarian, mainly in Law Libraries, but most recently as Parliamentary Librarian of New South Wales, a State in Australia, has equipped me well to deal effectively with a vast range of subject matters. I have extensive experience translating documents in all sorts of subject areas.
I have a BA and a postgraduate diploma in Librarianship. I have also studied Theology and related subjects. |
