My name is Ahmed Nagib, I'm an Egyptian Lawyer, graduated from Alexandria School of law with grade Good, after I graduated I worked in an Egyptian Law firm for almost one year I used to handle Civil and commercial cases, draft legal documents, attend judicial hearings, and performing administrative procedures. During this period I worked as a freelance legal translator in order to practice my legal English, and I provided this practicing with courses in Legal translation & Drafting legal contracts in Alexandria University.
Four months intensive scholarship was my next step in learning more skills, and discovering and developing my talents. It was a four months program held by FGF (Future generation foundation) with the cooperation of Amideast, New horizons, and Berlitz. The lectures were almost every day, the course included Business English, Computer skills, presentation skills, and extra sessions for Human Resources Management (HRM) and human development. Shortly, it was a program to provide graduates with the basics skills that allow him to compete afterwards in any field he would like to work in.
One of My favorite Branches of Law is Maritime Law, and because the law firm that I used to work in does not practice this branch of Law, I decided to support my theoretical Knowledge in college with real practicing in work field, so I worked as a trainee logistics coordinator in a textile company that had a wide transactions through many countries allover the world, I became familiar with transportation terms, Maritime transactions, and I dealt with shipping lines, forwarders, and couriers. Shortly, I got many skills during the five months of training.
I participated in a program that was held by ABA (American Bar Association) and ASCML (Arab Society for Commercial and Maritime Law) here in Alex. It’s a CLE (Continuing Legal Education) Program, its a program on skills, practice for young lawyers in Alexandria, Egypt. The program was under the supervision of a prominent American and Egyptian attorneys and professors to help us develop important skills in real world situations through courses involving oral and written advocacy, legal analysis, drafting of contracts and memorandum, maritime practice, legal ethics, and negotiation and arbitration. The goal of the program was to help us become more effective advocates and counselors for our clients whether we are giving them legal advice, preparing contracts for them, or resolving disputes in their behalf.
now i`m a leader of a team of six members, the out come of each member ranges from 3500 to 4500 words per day depending on the field of knowledge. we are seeking to translates documents in many fields with professionalism, experience, Specialization.
