Translation Volume: 88 words Completed: Dec 2012 Languages: English to Spanish | Drug-resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB) Case Studies
The tuberculosis team at PIH manages a learning website as part of a USAID funded TB grant called TB CARE II where TB practitioners and program managers can receive training and engage with experts and each other in regards to DR-TB and its management. One feature of the site is the case discussion series which highlights the various nuances of patient and disease presentations found in the clinical setting. Because the DR-TB Training Network (www.drtbnetwork.org) connects individuals from across the globe, translating these cases which can be shared offline and used during training workshops will help us to reach non-English speaking practitioners as well.
