Bio
The Spanish version is located immediately after the English portion of this page.

I was born in a medium class family at Merida, Yucatan., Mexico where I acquired most of my education. I was part of the second generation at the Serapio Rendon College, with specialization in Mathematics. In 1991, I moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 1993 I started volunteering my time at Bienestar Human Services, being awarded Volunteer of the year for two consecutive years. Then, in 1995 I was offered a position in AltaMed Health Services as a Health Educator, where I started translating forms, polices, protocols, training manuals and many other forms.

In 2004, while managing 4 different prevention programs, including one devoted to Translation & Interpretation Services targeted to Central Americans and North American hispanics in South Central Los Angeles, I was invited to become part of the task force in charge of writing and implementing the first Interpreter/Translator training curriculum in the area, PALS for Health, Bienestar Human Services and Clinica Para Las Americas trained the first group of medical translator/interpreters in Los Angeles.

Throughout the years, I have learn to gain my way to whatever goal I set to myself. I have learn that certainty of my goal will provide me with the vision; but perseverance, honesty, openness, high ethic values, respect for my own work, being genuine, and most important of all, not being afraid to fail, will always lead me to my target.

I read one day, the money in my pocket it is my token of gold, if it is money that I profit as the fair and honest exchange of my own and best work. So, I apply this idea to every one. I firmly believe that no one deserve less than the best, the dollar in your pocket can get. SO I ALWAYS STRIVE TO GIVE AND RECEIVE NOTHING LESS THAN THAT.
