I have lived for ten years in Nürnberg and Hamburg.

Living in Germany has given me an in-depth knowledge of the country’s institutions, culture and attitudes.

I am a copy editor, proofreader and translator (German to English) and have fifteen years' experience.

I have also worked for four years in various project-management roles in client-facing positions in the market-research industry. My most recent role in London was as an account manager for the BBC in the media department of GfK NOP, Germany's largest research company. Before that I worked for Ipsos Research in Schleswig-Holstein, where I was a project coordinator for the German market, liaising with clients from across Europe and North America.

I am a serious translator with little time for those who feel that offering translations at rock-bottom prices entitles them to submit second-rate work.
