Основные прикладные задачи ТМС были определены как:
- обучение врачебного и среднего медицинского персонала использованию новых инфокоммуникационных технологий в практической деятельности,
- консультации сложных больных на различных этапах оказания медицинской помощи;
- экстренные консультации больных, находящихся в критических состояниях;
- консультации в процессе оказания помощи пострадавшим в чрезвычайных ситуациях;
- догоспитальное консультирование больных для уточнения диагноза, метода лечения, решения вопроса о месте и сроках предстоящего лечения;
- послегоспитальное наблюдение и консультирование реконвалесцентов.
Translation - English The St Petersburg Telemedicine Network project was developed within the framework of the St Petersburg Regional Target Program for 2000-2004, as a system of TM units located in the key healthcare institutions of the city.
The main practical objectives of the TMN were defined as follows:
- training the medical and nursing staff to use new telecommunication technologies in their everyday work;
- providing consultations in complicated cases at various stages of healthcare provision;
- emergency consultations for critical patients;
- consultations for accident and emergency patients;
- pre-clinical consultations in order to refine the diagnosis, prescribe treatment and make decisions concerning the place and terms of treatment;
- post-clinical care and consultations for convalescents.

a) the annual conference elects a Women’s committee of maximum 12 persons, including one president and 2 vice presidents
b) every member organization of the PERC has the right to nominate a member of the Women’s Committee including nominations for the position of president and vice president
c) the Secretariat of the PERC will be allowed to make recommendations to the annual conference on the composition of the Women’s Committee, to ensure regional balance
d) the 3 members of the presidium will be members of the Executive of the PERC, and may be replaced by other members of the Women’s Committee
e) representatives of the PERC to the ITUC Women’s Committee will at least include the Presidium of the Women’s Committee; the further representation of the PERC region to the ITUC Women’s committee will be decided in a later stage, in connection to future decisions on the amount of places available for the European region
f) the Women’s Committee will meet at least in conjunction with the annual conference, and at one other time in the year at such a time that it can feed into the ITUC Women’s Committee.
