Source text - Spanish Tocamos la noche con las manos
escurriéndonos la oscuridad entre los dedos,
sobándola como la piel de una oveja negra.
Nos hemos abandonado al desamor,
al desgano de vivir colectando horas en el vacío,
en los días que se dejan pasar y se vuelven a repetir,
intrascendentes,
sin huellas, ni sol, ni explosiones radiantes de claridad.
Nos hemos abandonado dolorosamente a la soledad,
sintiendo la necesidad del amor por debajo de las uñas,
el hueco de un sacabocados en el pecho,
el recuerdo y el ruido como dentro de un caracol
que ha vivido ya demasiado en una pecera de ciudad
y apenas si lleva el eco del mar en su laberinto de concha.
¿Cómo volver a recapturar el tiempo?
¿Interponerle el cuerpo fuerte del deseo y la angustia,
hacerlo retroceder acobardadopor nuestra inquebrantable decisión?
Pero... quién sabe si podremos recapturar el momento
que perdimos.
Nadie puede predecir el pasado
cuando ya quizás no somos los mismos,
cuando ya quizás hemos olvidado
el nombre de la calle
donde
alguna vez
pudimos
encontrarnos.
Translation - Norwegian (Nynorsk) Me tek på natta med hendene våre,
let mørket sile gjennom fingrane,
knar det som skinnet til eit svart får.
Me har gjeve oss hen til likesæla,
til livstrøytta kor me samlar inn tomme timar,
dagar som går og kjem like att,
meiningslause,
utan spor, utan sol og sterke eksplosjonar av lys.
Me har gjeve oss smertefullt hen til einsemda,
men føler trongen etter kjærleik under neglene,
eit hòl som grev seg inn i brystet vårt,
i minnet og suset i eit sneglehus
som har vore for lenge i eit akvarium i ein by
og knapt har att gjenlyden av hav i skjell-labyrinten sin.
Korleis kan me få tida tilbake?
Kan me tvinge på ho kroppen si sterke lyst, på frykta,
og få ho til å trekke seg tilbake på grunn av vår faste avgjerd?
Men…kven veit om me kan få tilbake augeblikket
me mista.
Ingen kan spå fortida
når me kanskje ikkje lenger er dei me var,
når me kanskje har gløymt
namnet på gata
der

Bente Teigen Gundersen is an independent Translator, Editor and Communication Adviser specializing in arts, web communication and text localization.

Education
Bente Teigen Gundersen holds a MA from the University of Bergen in the fields of Spanish Language and Latin American Studies, Comparative Literature and Social Anthropology. She also has two years of formal training in Linguistic research (PhD level) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The area of research of her ongoing PhD proyect is comparative phraseology and corpus linguistics (Spanish, Norwegian and English). More recently, Gundersen has also studied Strategy at BI - The Norwegian School of Management.
Experience
Currently, Bente Teigen Gundersen is a freelance Translator, Editor and Communication Adviser. From 2006 to 2010, Gundersen held a position as Communication Adviser at SIU (the Norwegian Government´s agency for International Cooperation in Higher Education and Research). Previously, she worked as Press, Information and Culture Attaché at the Norwegian Embassy in Madrid for six years.
Gundersen has broad international experience and work experience from translation and localization, web communication, writing, editing, nation branding, marketing higher education and research, project management & strategy work, social media, cultural promotion (art, music and literature), teaching in languages, international relations/cooperation.
She has been the editor of the official Norwegian web site in Spain www.noruega.es (bilingual) and the official gateway to higher education and research in Norway www.studyinnorway.no (multilingual).
Translation and text localization were important tasks in her two last jobs. Parts of her academic work is also committed to language studies and comparative analysis, with several publications and dissertations.
