Ideal spring force causes the plate closing event to begin before the piston motion has actually stopped. Gas is still flowing through the valve. The final closure of the plate then occurs gently at the end of the stroke as the gas flow stops.
Light spring force causes the closing event to begin later in the stroke than the Ideal spring force. This results in final closure of the valve plate after the end of
the stroke. At the end of the stroke the piston direction reverses, and with the
valve still open the direction of gas flow reverses. The back flow of gas added to
the spring force generates high valve plate velocity and causes valve plate failures due to the high impact forces of the plate against the valve seat.

Of the three main transfer techniques that are usually implemented, (i) dubbing or synchronisation,2 (ii) subtitling and (iii) simultaneous interpreting/ only the first two have a significant weight in film translation, whereas the latter is exclusively restricted to very specific occasions, such as film festivals, where time pressure dictates its realisation.
Both instances of linguistic transfer can be c1assified within the generic epigraph of what is known as constrained translation. In its initial conception, this term was used to give account of just one of the two techniques, when Titford (1982: 113) states that "the problems encountered in sub-titling derive essentiality from the constraints imposed on the translator by the medium itself' (my italics). However, given its great operational and functional value, this term has been rec1aimed by other scholars to incorporate a larger group of empirical realities.

Este término, en su concepción inicial, fue utilizado para hacer referencia sólo a una de las dos técnicas cuando Titford (1982: 113) mencionó que “los problemas que se encuentran en el subtitulado derivan básicamente de las restricciones que el medio le impone al traductor" (mi cursiva). Los trastornos del espectro obsesivo compulsivo son un conjunto de entidades relacionadas con el trastorno obsesivo compulsivo con similitudes a éste y diferencias propias de cada trastorno. Actualmente se encuentran ubicados en diferentes apartados de los manuales diagnósticos actuales, por un lado dimensionalmente se encuentran las entidades del espectro impulsivo y por otro las del polo compulsivo, pero próximamente se ubicarán en un mismo apartado para su mejor análisis y estudio. El objetivo del siguiente artículo es analizar las características clínicas, epidemiológicas y el manejo terapéutico de tres trastornos más importantes del espectro impulsivo como es el juego patológico, la tricotilomanía y las conductas autolesivas.

The Obsessive-compulsive Spectrum Disorders are a group of entities related to the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder having similarities with it and also differences that are characteristic of each disorder. Nowadays, they are published in different chapters of current diagnosis manuals; On the one hand, entities of the impulsive spectrum can be found, and, on the other hand, entities of the compulsive pole can also be found. However, these entities will soon be included in the same chapter for a better analysis and debate. The present article aims at analyzing the clinical and epidemiological characteristics and the therapeutic management of the three most important disorders of the impulsive spectrum: the pathological gambling, the trichotillomania and the self-injury behaviour.
