I’m trilingual where my native language is Arabic and I master both English and French languages. I’m experienced in translation, proofreading, and editing since 2009. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the field of Linguistics at Cairo University. I hold an excellent graded MA degree in “Translation and Linguistics” at Helwan University, Faculty of Arts, English Dept. I completed a professional diploma in “Legal and UN Translation” at AUC (The American University in Cairo) with an excellent grade. Also, I have a BA from Cairo University, Faculty of Arts, English Language and Literature. I’m specialized in UN, media, legal, economic, financial, military, development, and technical translation as well as localization and subtitling. I have a solid knowledge of CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) tools, including but not limited to GTT, Trados, SDLX, Wordfast, Idiom, MemoQ, WebCATT, Wordbee, OmegaT, etc, as well as subtitling tools, including Sferalabs, Ooona, and Atlas. I'm able to produce the best quality as well as consistency using various translation memory tools. Furthermore, I work as a QA Checker and a Linguistic Consultant where I’m providing feedback to linguists and respond to clients’ feedback and queries.
