Jaya Ramchandani (BSc Physics, MSc, Astronomy) is a partner at Sirius Interactive, a language editing company for scholarly, literary, and scientific work (including the social sciences) for research organizations, university presses and other institutions. Sirius's main line of work is to partner with institutions in Asia from university departments, including those from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B), to translation companies, to offer a range of editorial services, including academic writing workshops. In Europe, she works with the European Southern Observatory (ESO), Atomium Culture, and EU-UNAWE, among other EU-funded projects. Jaya offers all levels of editing from a simple proofread to developmental editing. She is widely read in the areas of astronomy, physics, psychology, neurology, nanotechnology, and linguistics, and has edited over 3000 papers to date. More recently, she's been spending half her time in astronomy and physics outreach projects.
