Bio
I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran in a bi-lingual setting (Farsi-Turkish) until I was 17 years old. Since then, I have lived in U.S. (which as of 2009, would be 34 years). My college education and main work experience is in high-tech but I have always had a great passion for translation (and I get reminded of it every time I see poor subtitles in films!). I view translation as almost an art form and am extremely meticulous and non-compromising about it. Oh, by the way, my other big life passion is music. I play tar, setar and oud.
