Source text - English Purpose: The analgesic Tramadol HCl (UltramTM) was approved in 1994 as a non-scheduled drug under the CSA provided
that a novel risk-management program would be developed by an Independent Steering Committee (ISC). The risk-management
program began in 1995 with the launch of Ultram, and has been modified over the past decade to accommodate Ultracet
(Ultram and acetaminophen) in 2001 and generic tramadol in 2002. This provided a unique opportunity to study the
potential changes in abuse as the generic and combination products became available.

I am a Venezuelan lawyer who has been in contact with both English and Spanish since I was born. Studying Law I realized that I was not meant to practice my career but that I would pursue a professional development in Languages and its related fields. To that end, I became an English teacher and started formal studies in general, scientific and literary translation two years ago and in the present time I am preparing myself to sit for the Public Interpreter exam before the Venezuelan authorities, for which my Law degree will come in handy.
Since the beginning of 2008 I have been working as a freelance translator for a pharmaceutical company offering them support in the Regulatory Affairs Department, translating medical studies, variation sites reports, pharmacovigilance reports and all the material related to new and marketed drugs that must be approved by the relevant governmental office.
Regarding my personal life, I am a big fan of travelling to far countries with little or no planning so I can put myself to test every minute. I am proficient in Italian and I´m planning a trip to Italy at the end of the present year to stay there for 3 months in order to take my Italian to the next level. I´m also a voracious reader and a enthusiast of films.
I hope this piece of information gives you a glimpse of the person that I am. I´m very receptive to any comments or questions you are willing to raise.
Respectfully,
Aura
