English to Turkish proofreading is my fulltime business - 8 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year.
I have always believed that all the projects should be treated as unique with their specific instructions, style guides, tone of voices, term lists, etc. It is not unusual to expect some linguistic problems even with the best translators in the projects that are a little bit complicated and voluminous. Evidently, independent proofreading is critical. So that you can confidently submit your files to your client, I focus on your translated texts to spot and correct errors with utmost care. My proofreading service normally comprises the correction of grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, readability, and coherency. I also favor some other tasks related to the translation projects. For example: winalign, adaptation of corrections to TM, dictionary building etc.
Deadline: I strictly adhere to the time frames of the projects.
Confidentiality: I take all files as confidential.
Contract: I favor to sign Service & Confidentiality contracts with the LSPs on long-term basis or project basis.
CAT Tools: I can give support to the project which requires editing of xml, html and all '< tagged >' format documents. Standard translation memory package is market leading Trados® software.

My regular working hours: 09:00 to 18:00 + 2 GMT
Above hours may be flexible according to the daily needs of the projects.
Availability: I reply all the requests within 2 hours.
Currencies accepted: Euro (eur), U. S. dollars (usd), Turkish Lira (TL)

Pricing: My proofreading rate is 0.018 Euro per source word.
My editing rate is 0.03 Euro per source word.
My hourly rate is 25 Euro (for winalign tasks)
