I am a retired engineer (MSME) with extensive and diversified
experience, and a life-long translator.

 My hourly rate is $60/hour and my minimum charge is 1 hour = $60

Translation rates vary with the language pair and type of
project and its difficulty. 

My standard rate for resellers is $0.18-20/word (variable and
negotiable).

As a professional, I prefer to quote a job after seeing it.

Proofreading is usually charged at the hourly rate. 

All rates and schedules are, of course, negotiable.
