With 13+ years' experience in the translation industry and an MA in Translation & Interpreting Studies, I approach my translation work with a mixture of passion and precision; I am committed to getting every word right, and to creating translations that read like original documents.
As an avid traveller, I have often been on the receiving end of translations, some very good, while others have left much to be desired. My experience in the shoes of the target audience has given me great insight into what works and what doesn’t when it comes to translating texts for the tourism and leisure sector.
I also focus on translations for government entities, and have provided translations for the European Commission on a freelance basis since mid-2013, the majority of which have been assessed as ‘very good’ by the EC’s Directorate-General for Translation.
