Having spent three years gathering experience while working as an in-house translator for a renowned company in Bremen, Germany, I have now been working successfully as a freelance translator and interpreter since early 2009. A native speaker of British English, I hold a Masters degree in the Translation and Interpreting of French and German from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and also offer translation services from Spanish and Italian. On request, I am also able to consult a reliable network of qualified native speakers to provide you with translations into German, French, Spanish and Swedish.



Although I accept assignments from all fields, and have experience working with legal, technical, financial, commercial and IT texts, I specialise in medical translation.
Pursuant to confidentiality agreements with my clients I am unfortunately not legally permitted to
name the companies I work for or specify the products I have translated. I have worked for some
of the leading European and American specialists in medical technology in a wide variety of
branches including medical instruments, minimally-invasive surgical instruments, endoscopy,
arthroscopy, laparoscopy, gastroenterology, bronchoscopy, neurosurgery, dental surgery,
implantology, X-ray scanners, visualization technology, ECMO, ENT and many others.
