I'm living in Germany and I'm in the game producing and game localisation business since 1994.
I'm working exclusively as self-employed translator (EN -> DE) in the IT and in the games industry since 2008.
Especially the time in the games industry helped to keep me highly flexible, so I’m able to adapt to new challenges quickly.
I used CAT tools directly from start, beginning with SDL Trados Studio 2007 back then. Today, I mainly work with MemoQ 2013 and Trados Studio 2011 (partly assisted by Workbench and SDLX).
Of course, Office package, text editors, backup system, multimedia software and a reliable Internet connection is necessary in today’s business and I’m well equipped with these assets.
Due to my background, I'm able to work on nearly all text/document formats like MS Office documents, source text, DTP files, etc. Furthermore, I'm able to revise graphical assets and to provide voice recordings.
