I am a fully qualified translator with extensive experience both as a freelance translator and as an in-house translator in different companies. This has given me an even deeper insight of the specific needs of companies, something that it is often difficult to achieve solely with freelance experience.

I hold the DipTrans, by the Chartered Institute of Linguists, and am a fully-qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI) in the UK and ASETRAD in Spain.

I have extensive experience in the Travel and Tourism sector and I have been both a freelance and an in-house translator for big groups in the sector, like the TUI Group. Apart from my qualifications in Translation I also hold a Masters in Tourism. I have worked extensively in the translation and creation of content for the Travel & Tourism industry and I can localise all content, not just to different variants of Spanish if necessary, but also to different platforms, like desktop, tablet and mobile. I have achieved qualifications on SEO and I always use this knowledge when translating web content and when helping companies with their adworks campaigns.

I also specialise in advertising and marketing, not only in the Travel and Tourism industry, but also in many other sectors, like for example Enology/Premium Spirits. I have translated brochures, websites, DVD scripts and subtitles, etc for different markets, making sure the texts were fully adapted to the particular needs & the culture of the company’s clients in every specific country. I have also specialised on eCommerce and I have delivered the translation of different portals and trade platforms, making sure all Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions were accurate and relevant for the target market.

I have created and delivered Webinars on "Marketing and Advertising Translations", addressed to professional translators specialising or looking to specialise on those areas of expertise.

I have also translated technical support websites, user manuals & technical documents, mainly dealing with electronic and lift/elevator/stairlift equipment, as well as software.

I am qualified on SDL TRADOS and Déjà Vu and can produce translations in multiple formats (html, word, powerpoint, excel, PDF, etc.).
