I am a Belgian civil engineer (in mechanics) and have also followed courses in industrial management (one year in Dutch), quality, logistics, production management,… I have been working for 10 years in 2 SME's of the printing industry, first as a quality manager, then as a vice-manager.
For about 2 years I worked as a health and safety advisor after completing the corresponding basic training. Since then, I have translated dozens of documents in this field: annual action plans, risk analyses, procedures, training materials or "toolboxmeetings", accident analyses, safety data sheets, documents relating to the VCA system, etc.
Over the years I have also translated a number of test or inspection reports, operating instructions for machines or industrial installations (HVAC, packaging, cleaning), specifications (construction, telecoms), a few patents and articles for professional magazines.
During my career, I also had the opportunity to work in various other fields: accounting, human resources, social or commercial law,... which have since served me well as a translator.
