This relatively early adventure with English, later established and grounded across high school and university, has ultimately led me to become a professional translator in the 1990s. At the beginning of my translator’s career I translated into Polish several novels, of which I like best Colin Falconer’s “Harem”. Then I moved on to work as a freelancer on the open market and for a couple of translation agencies.
