I set foot in translation/localization in 2000. Since then I have worked as a translator, a project manager, a reviewer, and recently a freelance translator. During my translation career, I have translated and reviewed materials in various fields which total about 5 million words, including international cooperation, construction equipments, medical instruments and consents, IT, agreement/settlement/judgment, and lean/quality system etc (Please see project list in my CV for the details).
Having been a project manager of an IBM vendor, I know how to control the translation quality and the importance to communicate existing/potential issue related to the translation with the client so as to do a good job in one time. In 2003, I was nominated as IBM best QA.
I have been working as a freelance translator from August, 2005 and providing translating/reviewing services. During these years I received little concern/complaint from my clients. And I will continue to do my job with commitment, integrity, and passion.
