Outlook opens when I create a return package

Have the people at SDL managed to solve this annoying thing yet?

Hi Alain,

Which version are you using? In 2021 and also 2019, you have different options when creating a return package. You can just click on Close or on Open Target Folder or on Send as Email. Only with the last one, Outlook will open (if this is your email programme). Does it also open when you click on Close?

Stepan, thank you for sharing the link. I saw the page before. I don't want the autohotkey option, I don't want something that closes the window, I want something to disable Trados opening it in the first place. And I don't have any "C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\" folder.

Kristina, I'm using 2019, and it opens Outlook after "Finish" and before I get to close or send by email.

This is what exactly disables opening Outlook.

I just keep track on this item, because I still face the same problem with Windos 10/SDL Trados 2021.

Creating an Outlook account has fixed this problem for me Apr 17, 2022

I have gone through the archives here, and apparently one solution is to create an Outlook account seems to fix the problem. At least this has fixed it for me.
