Can't be sure with your patentspeak here, but this phrase generally seems to be used in patents, and says what you want in both the contexts you have given. My Swedish wife didn't like the word 'tillordnat' either.

In this context it seems to make more sense to translate tillordnat with "arranged for". Another possible translation is "assigned to" but that doesn't seem to work as well here.
