Source text - Swedish Utställningens titel – ... - kan ge en första hint. Michael Douglas gestaltar en karaktär – William Foster- som helt enkelt får sinne när han blir sittande i en bilkö i Los Angeles. En till synes vanlig morgon, men händelsen fungerar som en katalysator, som får honom i fritt fall. I början gör han ett tröstlöst försök att bokstavligen kyla ned sin vrede med en 12 ounce coca-cola burk, som blir en symbol för det USA han värnat om, försök nå upp till, men som nu vänt honom ryggen, arbetslös han är som raketingenjör. Burken har ingen effekt på hans frustration och han inser att hela världen omkring honom varit en lögn, och ingen tycks bry sig. Den värld som han försökt upprätthålla var bara en chimär. Genom dagen får man följa hans golgata-vandring och hur det alltmer går upp för honom att han levt sitt liv i okunskap. Först reagerar han med avsky mot sina medmänniskor, men sakta börjar han även se andras lidanden. Mot slutet inser han smärtsamt att han ständigt varit oförmögen att hantera sin frustration. Och han ställer sig frågan hur och när det kom sig att han blev ”the bad guy”, när allt han ville var att tjäna USA, sin familj, och just denna dag, bara önskade komma hem till sin dotters födelsedag.
Translation - English The title of the exhibition – ... – could give us a first hint. Michael Douglas portrays the character William Foster, who simply looses it when he gets stuck in traffic in Los Angeles. It is a seemingly ordinary morning, but the situation becomes a catalyst which propels him into free fall. At the start, he makes a desperate attempt to literally cool his rage with a 12 oz. can of Coke that becomes a symbol for the US, which he has upheld and tried to live up to, but which now has turned its back on him as an unemployed rocket engineer. The can has no effect on his frustration and he realises that the whole world around him has been a lie, and nobody seems to care. The world he has been trying to uphold was but an illusion. Throughout the day we get to follow him on his walk to Calvary, where it gradually dawns on him that he has lived his life in ignorance. His first reaction is loathing of his fellow human beings, but slowly he begins to see the suffering of others as well. Towards the end he comes to the painful realisation that he has always been unable to deal with his frustrations, and asks himself how and when he actually became “the bad guy” when all he wanted to do was serve the US and his family, and how, on this particular day, he only wanted to go home to celebrate his daughter’s birthday.

Source text - English I enclose a request to xxxxxx for mutual assistance in the matter of Operation xxxxx and Operation xxxxx accompanied by a translation into Swedish. xxxxxxx makes this request under the Treaty between the Government of Australia and the Government of Sweden done at Stockholm on 18 December 1998.
2. The purpose of this request is to obtain evidentiary material to assist in the investigation and potential prosecution of xxxxx xxxxxx for drug offences and money laundering. Material obtained in response to this request may be used in both proceeds of crime proceedings and the criminal prosecution of xxxxx in relation to these activities.
Background
3. The background to the request is at paragraphs seven to 32 of the request. In summary, xxxxxxxx authorities have been investigating the activities of a syndicate believed to be responsible for the shipment of numerous consignments of horticultural products concealing large quantities of 3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) tablets from xxxxxx to xxxxxxxx. It is believed that the syndicate has been responsible for importing in excess of 1.5 tonnes, or approximately 6 million tablets, of MDMA using this method. xxxxxx is believed to have been responsible for the sale of the product, collection of monies from customers, storage and laundering of proceeds of sale, as well as providing funds to other xxxxxx based syndicate members to facilitate the importation of the consignments into xxxxxxx.
