Hi Barry. well, it should be obvious that I know what 'djupa glas' is. The reason I posted this is that I have reviewer of a translation that I did said that my translation was wrong (deep glasses) was wrong and said the correct translation was 'tall glasses.' For all I know, the writer of the source text may have meant 'glass bowls' (djupa tallrikar).
So I was testing my translation by posting the source text exactly as it was.
I hope this explains it, and I thank your for all of your helpful assistance along the way.

Yes, it isn't ice cream - the misspelling is in the source text.
