potato dumplings (or)- Baked potatoes
Without a more complete list of items, these are my suggestions:
Potato dumplings - made with mashed potatoes, egg, flour, salt and water. Served with a lot of different main course dishes. The dumplings are cooked in water.
Baked potatoes - raw potatoes baked in the oven at high heat.
If you check the rest of the menu list, you might be able to decide which is most suited for your translation.

Comment: "Thank you - this is the closest to what I was looking for. I should have mentioned that this was not a dessert but a side dish for a main course. It is definitely a potato dish and there are many variations so I went with "potato bake" - a layered potato casserole."

Does not contain potato. A roughly round-shaped 'fancy' cake (for one person) with thin marzipan covering and arrack flavoured filling. Sprinkled with light-coloured cocoa to resemble a potato. Very tasty.

: The marzipan was news to me, but otherwise, this sounds right.

chocolate cake with arrak
It is, indeed, not a potaty pastry. These "cakes", for lack of a better word, are brown dumplings of eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, potato flour (originally, it probably was potatoes) and arrak or rum. I think they derive from Russia and are a staple in most Finnish cafes. Absolutely delicious.

For a savoury option, in some recipies, potatisbakelse is an assembled potato/vegetable sidedish.
