Spanish term

Licenciatura en sonorización en vivo/ técnico sonidista en vivo

Spanish to English Art/Literary Music Título universitario
La opción "Bachelor of Arts in sound" me parece un poco genérica, nada específica.
técnico sonidista en vivo= live sound technician.
¿Me darían una mano, colegas?
¡¡Gracias!!

Reuben Wright Jan 21, 2021:
@Phil LOL. So true.

I would avoid "Bachelor's" because it is an academic equivalence (credits/time of study) and these differ greatly from country to country. A translator is simply not qualified to make these equivalencies. There are regulatory bodies just for this purpose:
https://www.quebec.ca/en/employment/recognition-studies-expe...
For example, in Canada they can be a provincial or national level. They require an Educational Credential Assessment. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/se...

The safest option is "diploma", "degree" (or even "certificate" if you're less certain), as the number of credits/years of study required to obtain a "Bachelor's" in one country is not necessarily the same as the target country.

This is the 143rd time that someone has asked about "licenciatura".

¿"Live sound design", tal vez?

Degree in sound engineering/live sound technician

AKA a degree in audio engineering… But don't let the "engineering" bit bother you.
The distinction between "ingeniero/licenciado" does not come into the picture. If it's a university level qualification, it's a degree.
I probably wouldn't bother with the "Bachelors" part myself...
