Por cierto, la abreviatura de "PRIVATE" es "PVT."
pero se trata de una fuerza policial, he constatado ahora. Entonces, "constable" podría ser el grado más bajo comparable? Cómo se abreviaría? muchas gracias! |

Valeria, ¿has notato que has usado la abreviación que yo sugiero es la correcta en tu respuesta?: DTGDO. Por favor visita las páginas que sugiere James W. Estoy de acuerdo con él que se trata de una forma de referirse a un soldado raso, en el caso militar, y a un policía común, en el otro caso.

No, definitivamente es un grado policial. El contexto inmediato no ayuda mucho (es una lista de DTGDO Fulano y DTGDO Mengano), pero en el gran contexto se entiende que se trata de efectivos policiales, o de una fuerza equiparable a la Policia (Guardia Nacional Bolivariana). |
