Una forma de traducirlo literalmente sería "Senior Technical Master" pero encontré solo 4 entradas en google y con referencia a un militar en Zambia, señal inequívoca de que este término no es muy familiar.
Sinembargo ese sería la traducción más aproximada eventualmente.
"Mayor" no podría confundirse con "Major" que es un grado de Oficial y un Maestro Técnico Mayor es un suboficial en Venezuela y en cualquier parte. Hace referencia a "seniority"

There is if you are looking for a similar rank in the US Military. Other countries have different titles. A "maestro tecnico mayor" is not a commissioned officer but a top enlisted rank.
