Comment: "Muchas gracias. La respuesta de Mariana también es correcta, pero al final me quedé con "incubator"."
14 mins
incubate in an oven or warm in an incubator
I might use the latter, incubator, and change the wording of the phrase to avoid redundancy.

incubate in a heater

I`ve heard about heaters in the pharmaceutical industry many times, and they do exist. See these examples and images:
"Delvo P Mini Heater Block: used in an approved dairy laboratory for sample incubation during the Delvo P Mini test on milk products. There are eight wells that hold the reaction tubes, as well as a thermometer holder - Millipore Addi-Chek Incubator Laboratory Heater: Temperature set at 30C the ideal for incubating Tryptic Soy Broth." http://i24.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/ca/3b/f8_1.JPG

Anyhow, I agree that in this context it is also correct to say "the eggs should be placed in an incubator".
Regards, Mariana.
