Leo a la compareciento quien acepta...

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Argentine marriage certificate
I'm translating an Argentine marriage certificate and I came across the following phrase: "leo a la compareciente quien acepta la presente protocolizacion firmando por ante mi, doy fe."

I'm thinking: "I swear before the accepting party that this notarization is true and faithful." Or something along those lines. Vale?

Sugerencia?

Les agradezco de antemano.

I read (aloud) the whole content to the appearer, who agrees and signs it.

... in my presence / before me. I do attest.

Me he encontrado esta frase montones de veces!
