It seems to me from my research that this a particular business model, but I don't know if and what the English equivalent is. Thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks so much for your quick help...I was thinking something along the lines of 'dream'...but, I can't see how the project in my case can be considered a dreamer...maybe it is more of an 'entrepreneur's dream'.

agree Noni Gilbert Riley : The reason I asked Chanda about positive/negative tones was because I was afraid this might sound a bit critical in English, but looking at some of the links on Goo it seems to be used in an admiring way, reflecting daring and gump. So, OK!
