Hi, I would appreciate your help with a few technical terms regarding ploughing and farming implements.
The guide is from a village in Spain (Castilla La Mancha), so some terms/implements might be specifically from there, but an English equivalent will do perfectly.
They are part of a guide and there isn't much context except for a line or 2 as they are just short explanations.
It looks like a trestle missing the legs of one side but with the centre piece as the third "pie"
Context is:
"Los tres pies se colocaban por debajo de las ruedas de los carros y bajando la palanca se levantaban éstos y se retiraba la rueda para poder engrasar."
Thanks :)

(tripod) jack stand
It is pretty clear from the description.
Imagine an antique version of this:

Note from asker:
thanks :) I forgot to add that the centre piece is long and projects away from the two that look like a stand, seems like you can manouver it as a lever. Could it still be this? Thanks again for your input :) |

I understand that if it has any implement for lifting the load (and not just for supporting it), it will normally be called a jack ("wagon jack" in this case). Otherwise, it's a "stand".
The tool in the picture is a pure jack: it does not have the lateral stability to support the load for any serious work.
