sustainability- meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs
Tough word to find a synonym for. Maybe these:
'viability' (sort of)
'endurance/durability'
'renewable/renewability'
'self-sufficiency' (a little off but could work for some uses)
'autonomy' (also a bit off but worth putting out there)
