I think this fits with the visual image of the part that follows, too -- i.e., even when they are tossed around by everyday work affairs, they can get back on their feet/regain their standing ...
Other possibilities: tossed and turned by, pushed and pulled by, shaken up by, discombobulated by, thrown around by, swayed by, twisted by ...

You might know the basic meaning and nuance of "振り回される". I understand we cannot translate this expression literally if you want to translate the source into the natural sounding English.
From the sentence, I'd suggest "affected" and/or "controlled"; like,
If you continue thinking of ......, "despite occasional affection by daily work", you are able to go back to its origin.
..., even if you're trifled by daily works, you are able to ....
It's just an idea. I might use "people" for subjuct insted of "you"; I might use different expressions beofre and/or after this "振り回される" part, but keep the same subject in a sentence.
