Italian term

venerato dalla confessione anglicana

Italian to English Art/Literary History
Original sentence: Patrono dal 2000 degli statisti e dei politici, è un santo della Chiesa Cattolica venerato anche dalla confessione anglicana.

I've written:
Declared the "heavenly Patron of Statesmen and Politicians" in 2000 and is a highly revered saint in the Catholic Church and....worshipped in the Anglican church as well?

I'm uncertain about the translation of this last part.

revered by Anglicans

that's the most efficient way but since the source is less succinct and likes to use many words where a few would do, an alternative would be

"revered by those of the Anglican faith"
Peer comment(s):

agree Anthony Green : Hi Tom. Yes, revered as well - I think we were thinking along the same lines
