Menurut pemahaman saya, 'hari keramat' yg dimaksud dalam konteks ini adalah 'hari kiamat' (doomsday). Kelihatannya, penulis menggunakan gaya bahasa ironi - makna yg dimaksud adalah kebalikan dari kata yg digunakan.
Selanjutnya, dalam dunia ekonomi kapitalis, regulasi adalah penghambat. Pandangan ideal kapitalis mengharapkan adanya pasar bebas, tanpa regulasi.
Karena itu, bagi para kapitalis regulasi yg ketat adalah hari kiamat.

Namun demikian, dalam terjemahan yg dibuat nanti saya menganjurkan untuk menggunakan 'sacred/holy day' seperti yg diusulkan Archi sendiri dan kemudian diberi tanda kutip untuk menunjukkan bahwa yg dimaksud sebenarnya bukan benar2 'hari keramat' tapi 'hari kiamat'.
