not much to go on, but it could be that. To make the publication interesting.
as in "Wiener Schmäh", "trenchantly" is probably too strong, but dry humour, self irony and a little sarcasm can be part of it.

Also, ne Führung brauchts nicht. Eine Zeitkarte der ACTV kaufen, durch den Canal Grande fahren, auch mal um die Stadt außenrum oder durch die Lagune nach Burano, Venedig auf sich wirken lassen ist das allerbeste.
Ich finds am schönsten im Februar, wenn der Nebel so schön durch die Stadt wabert, das ist eine ganz einzigartige Atmosphäre. Ja, klar, voll ist es jetzt nicht mehr, und darum hat man auch ne Chance viel von Venedig selbst zu erleben.

if it concerns online publishing, it may mean in concise/precise format -- it is not bullets -- pointierte Form means also: prägnante Form oder eine Art, die das essentielle widerspiegelt -- und zwar kurz und präzise. From the little context given it seems more likely to me that *pointiert* in this case means *scharfsinning/geistreich/spritzig/gewitzt* rather than referring to the format, bullet points or not.
