chaplaincy
I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure that the term you are looking for is chaplaincy. While all terms are related and stem from the word "capella" (Latin), I beleive that a Kaplanei (chaplaincy) is an institution and not simply a chapel (Kapelle) within a castle. A chaplain is assigned to a chaplaincy to say a prescribed number of masses.
I will look for web evidence...

OK- I think it would be better if you use Terence\'s term because after doing research, chaplaincy only refers to the office and I don\'t think it can be used to describe the building.
