German term

... gestalterisch kreativer Freiraum entstehen kann.

German to English Marketing Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts)
Die Farben werden so eingesetzt, dass gestalterisch kreativer Freiraum entstehen kann.

I'm having difficulty coming up with an English translation that doesn't sound stilted. Can anyone help?

Colors are combined to create an inviting, stimulating space

or replace 'stimulating' with 'inspiring' (I guess it depends on the type of room)

agree avantix : No, Fred, it's not a room like "floor/ceiling/walls", it's imaging (graphics). But I agree with the sentence, prefer 'inspiring' instead of 'inviting' though. So: "inspiring and stimulating"

colors are applied in a way which supports creative freedom

The German original sounds stilted, so let's drop what we don't need. "Gestalterisch" and "kreativ" are almost synonymous, and we don't really need "space" here either.
