: It's "authenti*cation"... // ADD: The correct word formation is not subject to context - "authenti*fi*cation" is just a "contamination" of the correct English "authenti*cation". Also, the verb is "to authenticate" and NOT "to authentify".

: I don't disagree with your answer, but I'd be careful to use authentication instead of authentification (which although it may be in common (incorrect) usage, is *not a word* in UK or US English dictionaries). *In any context.
