Look électrique

French to English Other Textiles / Clothing / Fashion hairstyles
From an account of a hairdressing exhibition in which clients appear alongside their stylists (hence the 'duo' reference). There are several references to 'look electrique' on the internet in French, but I'm not sure what term we'd use in English. Certainly not an 'electric look'.... Surely she doesn't look like she's just had an electric shock?! (or perhaps she does, sorry there are no photos).

Coupe en mouvement, duo dans le vent.
Dominique le nonchalant sait y faire,
Elles se jettent toutes à son cou.
Allure bohème rebelle pour lui,
Look électrique et œil pétillant pour elle.

Edgy look

I've spoken to a French hairdresser friend and she told me that it can mean short and spiky but it can also mean bold haircuts and colours. So to be on the safe side, edgy would be the best bet I think :)
