French term

demande de consuel

French to English Other Other
"Ne sont pas comprises....les prestations suivantes: demande de permis de construire et demande de consuel, raccordement electrique et eau sur reseau..."

I have found entries on doing a Google search suggesting some sort of form or licence to be obtained or submitted once an electricity supply has been connected but I don't know exactly to what this term refers. Can someone help by offering an appropriate UK English term, please?

application for supply authority approval

The 'consuel' is an inspection and approval given by the electricity supply authority to certify that new electrical installations meet certain standards.

I am not aware of the existence of a similar system in the UK, so I think you may have to go for something of an explanation, rather than a single-word translation.
