I have a list of documents and information to be sent to the Guichet Industriel of the DRCD (Department of clinical Research and Development) at Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris. This concerns a clinical trial.
"DOCUMENTS ET RENSEIGNEMENTS A FOURNIR AU PLUS TÔT à la direction de la recherche de l’établissement où le/les centres d'investigation sont à ouvrir:
- Copies des courriers du promoteur indiquant son intention d’ouvrir un/des centres d’investigation dans l’établissement aux directions et aux pharmacies des hôpitaux de l’AP_HP en vue de realiser l’essai reference protocole de recherché n°…"
Does it mean "departments" in this context, or should it be "managers/managements"?

I normally translate direction as management. From the context, it does not appear to be departments or department heads. Teams is a misnomer -- which is resulting from the plural.
