I understand the meaning of this but I'm not sure if there is a standard term for it in English. This is the heading of the document which goes on to give details of someone declaring that he shall bear the costs of his daughter's studies in the UK.
Thank you!

undertaking to bear costs
I cannot think of a standard phrase, but "undertaking" implies a legal obligation here.

formal statement as to willingness to bear costs
itr is the reconfirmation whish is bothersome... MY IDEA WITH FORMALis that it might take care of the fact that it has been said before (reconfirmation) but not as formally!

Reaffirmation of Financial Responsibility
Hello,
Isn't this a reaffirmation of the parent's acceptance to be financially responsible for child's education? It seems to me.
"Reconfirmation" is rarely used in English in such a context (It's fine when talking about "flight reconfirmations" LOL)
I hope this helps.

All should be capitalized except "of."
