French term
vie du salarié
French to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
Does anyone know what the equivalent concept for this would be in (UK) English?
I found a definition here which seems to suggest it concerns an employee's right to a personal/private life:
http://www.cours-de-droit.net/droit-du-travail-et-des-salari...
The context is as part of a list of HR duties:
- Gestion du personnel (vie du salarié, formation professionnelle, visite médicale, …) ;
- Gestion du recrutement ;
Would employee wellbeing/employee work-life balance be a bit too far off the mark here?
Thanks in advance!

: Far too narrow and specific, and doesn't really describe a part of the HR function. Yes, but it's much MORE than JUST that! This is just one tiny subset of all that the s/t encompasses.

HR is in charge of managing each employee entitlement in any organization!

Discussion
According to your brand of logic, "car door" should be translated as "roue de voiture" on the ground that both are part of a car. In the boring generally accepted and applied logic, it won't work ...
Why the concept of employee entitlements is inadequate? Tony M.'s objection is irrelevant. Why? Because employee entitlements are managed by HR in any organization.
I's in a way the sort of pastoral care aspect of HR, as distinct from their administrative role in say hiring /firing or wages, and as distinct from the employee's more directly job-related issues, for which they would refer to their line manager.
Or, if "vie du salarié" from the HR point of view has anything to do with the section "La vie du salarié" from http://www.cours-de-droit.net/droit-du-travail-et-des-salari... could it be "information about employee's family"?
It's the equivalent of 'vie scolaire' in an educational establishment — looking after all the needs of the employee that are not directly related to which particular job they are doing — the everyday stuff like sick notes, booking leave, payslips, etc.
I've not personally encountered a specifc name in EN for this concept.
