In an abstract of Exposition Regulations, the context as follows: " ...les sommes versees par les exposants resteraient de plein droit ** acquises a l'organisateur.**"
Then, a few more lines down: "L'acompte verse restera, en tout etat de cause, definitivement **acquis a l'organisateur.**"
Do you think "accepted by the organizer" would work?
Thank you.

I'm not sure of the exact 'legalese' for this, but basically it means that the money belongs to the organiser, whatever happens.

will remain the property of the organiser
usually applies to assets or capital goods rather than cash, but that's what it is here nevertheless: "shall not be refundable by the organiser"
